Nobody is trying to "normalize" it. Don't you want judges to be independent thinkers? Or do you think every criminal should receive the mandatory minimum or more?

Poor attempt at deflection. Gaetz has been, as you say, alleged. If it is proven, he should swing. There seems to be no interest in closing his investigation. More concerning is the propensity - primarily from the left - to convict without the presumption of innocence. Unless, of course the person correct thinks.

MAJ Byron Oyler - wholeheartedly agree. You diddle little kids you should rot in a dark cell, until they plant your dead body in the ground. If they don't want to rot there, we can plant their live body in the ground. Either way, I'm okay with the outcome.
