That's certainly the Russian view of it. The reality in the ground belies the idea that they are all one people who want to be together.

As far as 2014, it was the Ukrainian assembly that removed the then president as they had the constitutional power to do. We didn't do it and we were not meddling any more than Russia was.

The way that I'm seeing is Putin is on a suicide mission, not only for himself but the people of Russia, and one of the ways I feel he is trying to accomplish this mission is trying to entice NATO into this Blood Bath and 1 of the major things that kind of shows this hand, is committing troops into fighting for Russia and not providing details so that when a War Crime is declared it doesn't expose that goof balls name as who approved it to happen, then there is the bombing of Maternity wards and Civilian Communities and killing innocent Children and Women . NATO is playing their hand just right but how much more will it take to bring the starts of WWIII where there will be no winner and everyone loses.

Good analysis. Just my opinion - no one won either WW I or II. Lets ad some other opinions a la carte. No one won Korea or Vietnam. Who won the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? While military brass disgracefully (more bucks for me in my future) and cowardly (I'll be able to bug out in class when / where my country can't) bows to the inexperienced, politically slugs who "rule" our nation, we are headed for the big lose-n-ski! Sickening!

Rational summary on your part. I just want to hang with the good guys. There weren't any good guys when we were kids in Danang. There weren't any good guys when we were laying rounds into the neutral zone in Beirut. There were no good guys when we fenced in Saddam. There were no good guys in Cyprus. There were no good guys 9Dec1992 when we started locking the technicals down in their compounds. After my time, but who were the good guys in Bosnia? Or Iraq redux? Are there some good guys here?
