Why didn’t it serve them well in WW2?

Of course I’ve heard of Anne Frank. She was neither Swedish nor Finnish.
Additionally, Sweden was never occupied by Germany in ww2.
Finland was a German ally for most of the war. They were directly attacked by both the UK and USSR prior to joining the allies around 1944. Furthermore, Finnish Jews were never persecuted.

I'm sure that's true, I doubt Putin will stop with Ukraine and both He and Russia have a pattern of aggression throughout their history.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - From the poor performance of the Russian ground army, I have serious doubts that he could use his army to invade any of the adjacent NATO states. It's clear from all the analysis that an occupation of Ukraine would be unlikely given the poor quality of Russia's army. His strategy likely follows his Chechnya war - bomb the civilian cities flat then bomb the debris flat. Hopefully, we are supplying the Ukrainians with lots of Stingers and facilitating the transfer of Polish/Hungarian MIG 29's to the Ukrainian Air Force - planes they have trained on. They might have a chance to hold off the Russians long enough for Putin to realize that he's in a quagmire and either pull out or negotiate out. ???? In the meantime, we need to pray mightily for Ukraine.
