All he has to do is release some of the reserve and start pumping and refining more here in the US. But Joe does not want that and like all the other Democrats, wants people to suffer while pushing a failed green agenda.

Drill our own oil. Do not rely on other countries for our existence.

Maj John Bell Anything helps and that would be great but hardly a dent in the prices. I think the federal gas tax rate is between 18 - 19 cents per gallon last time I looked at the gas pump. In the last week prices have gone up almost fifty cents a gallon here in East Tennessee. We are now at the highest prices ever for this area.

Yes, but it will lower the reported inflation on fuel by a few points. I think the DNC is desperate to find a way to take some of the stink off of the Biden administration.
