I've been checking and the first mentions of this look to have taken place about 12 hours ago, but none of the sources are very reputable. The Express article seems to pick from those articles. I've not seen anything else regarding this, but that's not to say that it didn't happen. I'm checking my sources and keeping an eye out . It's certainly interesting in light of the on-the-ground reports of RU troops essentially surrendering without a fight. Will let you know.

In a war, propaganda is a valued strategic asset which is used far to much by some, considering Russians tend to hold mutiny and disobeying orders as a death penalty one should be very wary of believing everything thrown against the wall to see what sticks.

I totally agree but the the leanings of the source make me think there be more to this than meets the eye. There has been tv coverage of troops abandoning vehicles in Ukraine so I'm guessing the morale of Russisn troops isn't exactly gung ho.

Don't have any verification of this but will check it. They are definitely having some morale problems however.
