Found a blog yesterday doing genealogy research. J.L. Bell's blog: Boston 1775
"History, analysis, and unabashed gossip about the start of the American Revolution in Massachusetts"
It is not only about Boston, or 1775. I found William Costin (mid-1800s) there from doing a google search.
Many topics and a lot of information - with good linkage to what is mentioned.
The thought of "unabashed gossip" about the start of the Revolution . . . maybe that WAS going on at the time! I only found obscure information that quashed "gossip" and provided insight in what I accessed - haven't done much exploring yet.
