While we have 4 companies on the list, it is interesting to me that the list is dominated by Japanese companies

Ah yes, Viavi. I had stock with JDSU when it spun off Viavi. It already had some scarring before conception. JDSU had done a reverse split on the market. (i.e. not good) Fortunately they are working to reinvent themselves.
I am guessing the data they used for this assessment (1993-2020) was more in line with the times under JDSU since Viavi Solutions spun off in 2015.
