Our body's ability to generate brand-new antibodies to brand-new viruses is amazing. It is literally how we evolved to survive as a species. Denying the value of natural immunity is denying science.

Maybe so, maybe not in the case of Covid. I have a friend recovering from his third bout. Each tested positive.

CPT Jack, I think you know already, a single data point, or even 100 counterexamples, across populations of billions of people, doesn't counter the scientific evidence for natural immunity.

Our testing system is definitely not foolproof; all of those may not have been COVID.
And if his immune system is that poor at generating antibodies, the vaccine won't help much

A lot like the common cold. Never immune totally and not dangerous so long as your immune system is working. COVID will likely get to the same point, always changing to get in but mutated and facing trained immune systems so it's an inconvenience. Just like most other viruses on this plant that can infect us.
