Military officials in Oregon say a sonic boom that caused widespread concern on the Oregon coast that an earthquake had happened was caused by an aircraft that “inadvertently went supersonic.”

SFC Randy Hellenbrand They have Closed Richards-Gebaur here and Officially closed NAS Olathe a very long time ago (Officially) while You won't see any "Navy" Aircraft anymore near "New Century" You'll see plenty of Other Military Aircraft.

I used to hang out in Norfolk in the summers when I was a kid, it was a regular occurrence to have a sonic boom. It sounded like the biggest bomb imaginable exploding.
