Electric cars at this very moment are no better than ICE when it comes to emissions. But electric cars are like the model Ts of 100 years ago. With time and refinement, batteries can be built more climate friendly. Small businesses are being started that focus on serving the batteries replace the critical parts and they will be good. It's a new revolutionary thing. If we cared about climate 100 years ago we would have never replaced the horse drawn carriage.
