I knew this would happen. For one CNN has dragged down the net value of the entire suite of TIme-Warner media with it's crappy performance. Secondly, the loss of publics confidence in CNN is now at EPIC levels even if the left wingers still think the network is viable and has a standard of journalism. This could be the beginning of the end of the sharp idealogical divide in news reporting as CNN starts reporting news on a more factual basis and DROP KICKS the idealogues like Chris Como, Mr. Lemmon, etc to the curb where they belong. There is no doubt Mr. Zucker is in trouble despite his past friendship with Mr Suslav.

Fundamental misunderstanding of competition. You should read carefully the comments above and think of what they mean for the business person saying them. He isn't saying become exactly like FOX. He wants them to mimic their innovations at monitization as well as presenting the news. So a more competitive CNN would lead to changes at FOX as FOX responds to the competition. Right now there is NO competition and CNN is losing big.
