Amazon reinvents 'The Wheel of Time' for the small screen, with surprising turns

Difficult adaptation based on 14 book series with plethora of characters and multiple sub plots

Lots of information about entertainment, we are definitely the entertained generation.

I have, so far, seen about 5 minutes. My wife wants to watch it with me, but she fell asleep (we were watching in bed - not an indictment of the quality). So far I am not particularly impressed. Not because the show has done anything wrong, just that, from my reading of the books, it has really done anything RIGHT.

"Based on" the Wheel of Time would be more accurate than calling it the actual Wheel of Time, IMHO.

But, again, I am only 5 minutes in, so we shall see.
