Negligently discharged. Not accidentally. Don't excuse incompetence.

This doesn’t sound like an accident.

Convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon, in a carry on bag, lunges for the bag, takes the gun, flees the scene during the pandemonium, doesn’t seem “accidental” or “negligent” to me. SFC Michael Hasbun

SFC (Join to see) they didn't successfully employ the weapin to engage any targets. It just went off. Sounds negligent.

If you break Law 4 while breaking Law 1, 2, and 3 it isn’t an accident or negligence. He was a felon in possession of a firearm, on airport property, concealed in his carry on bag, who disobeyed directions and lunged into his bag. You say he didn’t deploy it. Which is true but his actions lean toward he was attempting to. SFC Michael Hasbun
