Everyday Noises Are Making Our Brains Noisier - Issue 107: The Edge - Nautilus

Since I'm posting it, I can't up-vote it. I would if I could.I'm happiest when all I can "hear" is my tinnitus. My wife is one of the people that feel they have to have something going on in the background. So I am constantly walking around the house turning off noise makers to calm my brain. The saying is "You don't hear the one with your name on it" I'd rather not hear the rest of them either.
