Ive heard English is the most adaptable language. They added 455 new words to the dictionary this year.

I think using das + root for every gendered word in German would be the way to go. In Portuguese, drop the -o or -a and go with the root.

I note that the discussion is only in regard to gendering of terms directly referring to people; it's not an attempt to gender-neutralize the entire language. Hungarian is a great example of a gender-free language - while English is mostly gender neutral, but we still have he/she/it;
Hungarian has only ' ő ' !
