It's so simple... you get 5 trillion up front, you spend it all, then you get 5 trillion back in tax revenue and you are right back to where you started... even money...

SSG (Join to see) - I completely disagree. The reason for all the inflation is from overheating the economy and all the rich people stockpiling trillions of dollars and then adults taking over and reapplying the restrictions and giving lower and middle class workers the raises that they have been waiting 12 years for...

PFC David Foster - What economics class did you take, inflation usually starts when the government prints too much money, and what raises, I have heard some jobs the wages have risen because the job market is so tight and competitive, hell across the river in Indiana there are some places offering $50.00 just for you to come and fill out an application, but that would take almost a year for those wage increases to actually take affect on price increases. The government has printed too much money, fuel prices are going thru the roof which is an instant increase in the cost of goods, and several other factors.

PFC David Foster - And the costs of goods have also increased as a result. You raise pay, you raise the cost of goods. You raise taxes, you raise the price of goods.
Wealthy people are not going to lose profit just to give people pay raises or so you can save a few bucks at the checkout counter.

SSG (Join to see) - The dollar is going to shrink. Inflation is a necessary part of the system. Inflation shrinks the dollar. Inflation will help everyone who has taken advantage of this low interest money we've had for a long time.... Everyone who has gone deep in debt buying assets will be the biggest winners after an inflationary period is over. The market is ripe for many reasons for an inflationary period... I have studied both Micro and Macro Economics... Cooling down an overheated economy always causes inflation, another main reason is practically doubling the wages of middle and lower income workers.... this is just the beginning... if you look back at the late 70s early 80s, we had an inflationary period that roughly lasted 10 years and amounted to about 100% inflation.
The economy practically flatlined for 30 years, there was low inflation and low but steady growth (except for the end of the George W reign housing market balloon that cause the recession). At the end of this long period, Trump set the economy on fire, he pulled out all the plugs, lifted all the restrictions on the environment and stock market, raised stock market values 50% in 4 years across the board with some winning big and some just winning. He did this without raising wages that had already been flat for a long time.... Now we are cooling the economy, raising wages, and adding back in the restrictions on the environment and stock market to protect the people, all at the same time and inflation will not be denied. The dollar will shrink, which will in the long run make America stronger... it will in a sense, make the national debt feel half as big with many more dollars floating around to cover the debt.
With a shrunken dollar, it will make our exports look more attractive around the world. Foreign currency will be stronger against the dollar.... This is only touching the surface....
