You can do the research if you like, PFC David Foster, but using your criteria, I speculate it’s still not unique to President Trump.

LTC Stephen C. - I'm sure you are right, but all those who committed crimes after being pardoned by a President of the United States were unique in that they were all bad choices for pardons. If the President of the United States sticks his neck out for a criminal, don't you think there is an obligation owed to that President to stay out of trouble? I am sure their have been others... but if Obama pardoned someone who got in trouble again, it would be at the top of the news all month, so let us have our fun for a day anyway lol...

I’m afraid U.S. Presidents simply roll the dice and hope for the best, PFC David Foster. Just a quick internet search revealed that one of Obama’s pardonees returned to crime. I never even knew about until I did this search.

LTC Stephen C. - It wasn't a friend of the families like Trumps pardon lol.... Obama pardoned 1750 people, more than any other President in history and it was for nonviolent crimes... Obama's pardoned girl was pardoned from a life sentence over drug charges, a nonviolent crime, while Kushner's pal was threatening and stalking a woman... IMO, they are both still unique incidences since the vast majority don't commit more crimes... but it's not a big deal, if it will make your day better, I'll say Trumps guy wasn't unique.... Trump's guy wasn't unique..... there.....
