Marine Vehicle Pulling Cannon Overturns, 5 Marines Transported | Menifee

A US Marine Corp Vehicle was traveling southbound on the freeway when in overturned. The truck is an estimated 30,000 lbs. vehicle. The truck was pulling an M777 Howitzer Artillery gun. At this time it is not clear if there was ammo on the vehicle. It is believed that the vehicle had a mechanical issue. 5 occupants of the truck were transported with minor injuries to a local area hospital. No more information is available at this time.
