I'll never understand Russian culture or their dark outlook on the future or their rampant paranoia about everyone. Clearly a people that feel cursed in some way.

I still recall targets in the St Petersburg area. While none of the fantastic structures were targets they certainly served as radar offset and visual timing aim points.
