For my 2nd song of this Saturday afternoon's Music Interlude I chose a song by the late Dan Fogelberg titled "Rhythm of The Rain"
About Dan Fogelberg:
Daniel Grayling "Dan" Fogelberg (August 13, 1951 – December 16, 2007) was an American singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, whose music was inspired by sources as diverse as folk, pop, rock, classical, jazz, and bluegrass. He is best known for his 1980 hit "Longer" and his 1981 hit "Leader of the Band".

I remember a group called "The Cascades" one of whose member John Claude Gummoe had actually written and the song was released in 1962. In march 1963 is made the number one record on the charts. Shown here is the record jacket for that 45 RPM hit record. I still have a couple records with the song on it and listening to them on the radio in 1962-63. The original version by the Cascades is My favorite.

I remembered the song, but not the Cascades... I had all but forgotten them... The song, however, is great!
