Slavery is, unfortunately, alive and well around the world. If that were not so then we wouldn't be hearing about "sex trafficking", we wouldn't hear about Chinese "sweat shops", or about Chinesr Uighars (my spelling is probably wrong). For me the Muslim religion embraces slavery, after all what is Purdah if not a form of bondage?

Slavery, today, is alive and kicking. The fact that it is invisible to us is because we have become tunnel visioned blocking out reality, but we forget that reality doesn't change based on our likes or desires. Use, abuse and discard is the terminology used to identify slaves.

A senior executive making his way home one evening stopped when he saw a gorgeous lady. He watched her for a while and then, decided to approach her. The lady waved the Executive off saying all was well, yet this man kept stocking her. Making a long story very short, the lady was kidnapped and kept in a room for weeks, just to satisfy the personal desires of that senseless senior executive. Eventually, when the cops found the lady, she was in extreme shock. The lady suffered mental health problems and passed away. The senior executive got bail, after his goons threatened the lady's family. He roams free like nothing ever happened.
