What's the big deal? People get flu shots and still catch the flu all the time. Key point they don't get as sick if they do.

MCPO Roger Collins That still means 10%- can get it so Provincetown was within a reasonable margin of error at 15%. Knowing the cramped conditions of P'town I can certainly see how it could happen there.

True, I have had the Flu after getting Flu shot but also new strains of even that come up from time to time. I got over it and recovered fully but I'm also convinced a lot of the shots I got over the period of a lifetime did prevent Me from getting a lot of the types of illness going around. I did get both the shots for Covid 19, as did my wife. When I spent a years in Vietnam in 1968-69 I never even had a cold but I figure with all the shots I got before going there they must have covered every disease known to mankind. lol

I agree. What the problem is that some are using these numbers to either persuade people that vaccines don't work (wrong) or that the Delta variant poses a life threatening problem to the vaccinated and we should all be locked down again (also wrong)

Lt Col Charlie Brown Even in Florida I haven't seen anyone proposing a return to lockdowns and I agree that would be wrong. I think there should be more emphasis on the fact that the Delta variant is more like a Covid 21 than a variant of Covid 19 in how we respond to it.

This is good news, however, I still think all this mask, and lock down crap needs to stop.

Absolutely. No point in it. Get vaccinated if you can; that's the best solution. If you don't, you take your chances.
