I wouldn't call myself a fanboy of the 6.5 Creedmore but I'm happy with mine as well as my .308. Each have their own uses. I just have to ask if the author has a healthy stake in Remington stock.

What the heck, the 6.5 Creedmoor isn't a magic bullet, Heresy! Of course it is not the magic bullet. Good, factual article on ballistics.

I see nothing wrong with author's points on ballistics info, nor anything wrong with the fact that there are shooters out there who love the Creed more. I actually fell in love with hunting with a rifle that many probably would scoff at, however, I have never pulled the trigger on a Whitetail that I did not kill with one shot. Its all about the area you hunt and what type of shot are you willing to take. For me that means a pretty clear picture of heart/lungs and in the area I hunt its rare to get a shot over about 150 yards. As a side note I am in love with my Thompson Center in line 50cal Black Powder rifle.
