1LT William Clardy very true. Funny thing is that in school I did a paper on the idea of globalization and "just on time" inventory. One of the things I read and used in the paper was that anything that could cause a backlog in delivery from a parts manufacturer to end item user could create a stoppage that would domino. All of this was in a paper on how to gauge inventory needs in supply chain metrics. This video really did a good job of showing the cascade effect.

I do have to agree with the system being reworked.

I can agree with this. Covid was a reason buy only one reason for the cascade of shortages.
