I'll bet you have. We had a guy in Nam, in our unit, who's last name is Rambo. I didn't know it at the time, but he was just like the movie Rambo. We got mortared one night and after it was over Rambo came into the hooch with cuts in his arms and blood running everywhere. He was on flight line guard duty, in a small building, and told us a mortar hit close to him and he killed a VC with his shotgun. I don't know if the cuts were self inflicted, but he was always getting hurt in some way. It takes all kinds to be a soldier.

When we went to Fort Gordon for AIT, my MOS was 95B10P. When we pulled up to MP school, our driver came to the back of the truck and if he called our name, we were to stay on the truck. The ones like me, who were Airborne, were going to Infantry AIT. Iknew right then where I was going.

You also have Stickler, where everything is by the book. You know us MP's set the standard. The new New Testament is the 670-1.
Asshole, where you mistake his authority for your rank. He'll right his own mother for 5 over and he will be a condescending jerk while he is doing it.
Party Phil, when he secures from formation he already has a beer in his hand. He'll party till 4am then go home sleep for 2 hours and then he is a sloth for the rest of the day until it is time to secure and BAMB! Beer in his hand. Repeat until paycheck is gone.
