A great many have been either living in fear or living in "inconvenience" -- the policies given by leadership have not mitigated the fears -- my 2 cents

You are so right. It's all about politics from the leadership here...with Pelosi insisting on masks in the House, it's no wonder some people are still afraid.

Lt Col Charlie Brown I think House members are more afraid of Pelosi and fines than they are of the disease.

Some of the businesses I visit still want the employees to wear masks.

Here in SE Florida (where we still experienced lockdowns and mask mandates at the County level) we were able to shop at Costco and Wal-Mart mask free. Seems about 1/2 of the staff at each store were also maskless. We have gone from 95% mask free to 99.9% mask free.

While the counties (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm) put mask mandates in place, the Governor made it illegal state-wide to ticket anyone for not wearing a mask some 6-8 months ago. That just left the companies who could legally demand you wear a mask. And just like that most of the signs came down this week!
