Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. It's another beautiful day here in Northern Virginia. Looking forward to all the opportunities to do good in the next few months.
If you don't like the way your life is working out, you can change it. You are the one living it; you have the power to make it what you want it to be. Invite help if you need it; there are willing hands and hearts available....and God is always listening. Be grateful for what you have as we have so much more than most of the world. Live life as if it were a precious, limited resource. It is!

Life is indeed a limited resource, dear lady. It can easily slip through our fingers if we turn away. Embrace it and cherish it and give thanks to God for the joy of living.

I expect you are grateful for your eternal salvation through the atonement of the LORD Jesus the Christ and the justification from sin at the regeneration of your heart/soul coincident with your salvation. Hopefully your life is balanced in general and your daily food intake and drinking is proportional to your burning of calories. No doubt your enthusiasm, encouragement of those you lead and who place their trust in you, and consistent demonstration of respect for each person you interact with or encounter is an inspiration worthy of emulation. ‘And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him. … You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.’ [2 Peter 3:15, 17-18 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray for a large measure of humility for the overly prideful; selflessness for the selfish and childish adults; measure of patience for the impatient and rude; large measure of kindness for the mean-spirited; and a large measure of justice for the unjust and corrupt. As YOU know LORD, prior to saving us we were such as these and worse. ‘And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.’ [1 Corinthians 6:11]
As far as the nations including USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, India, and the rest; remember the admonition of the LORD ‘Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, and are accounted as the dust on the scales; behold, he takes up the coastlands like fine dust. Lebanon would not suffice for fuel, nor are its beasts enough for a burnt offering. All the nations are as nothing before him, they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness.’ [Isaiah 40:15-17 ESV]
I pray for an increase of trustworthiness, faithfulness, moral courage, and balance of justice and compassion for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or listens to it. YOU admonish us to be honest in transactions, to use consistent weights and measures, and treat each person with respect. And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. 25For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” [Mark 4:24-25 ESV]
I lift widows, widowers, those treated unjustly especially by the governments, disabled veterans, homeless, and recently terminated from employment to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU motivate trustworthy individuals who are good listeners to come to the aid of those in dire need of assistance. ‘learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause. “Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.’ [Isaiah 1:17-18 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Thursday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Friday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Great MEME and quote that many of have experienced and lived Maj Robert Thornton and some continue to do for others my friend...

“How to live your life or how you want to live is the message. As in the main quote ‘live your truth!’ That doesn’t necessarily mean you have to have all the possessions in the world to be happy. It’s more about living life with less and more about enjoying how you live each day… that reminds me of this quote…

‘The question of what you want to own is actually the question of how you want to live your life.’ — Marie Kondo

May you live a balanced life, know your center and create rhythm that works for you; don’t worry about the things you’re missing or possessions you think you need. Learn to live and live to learn; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy.” Enjoy living right now!” – COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Drop in this evening with Volunteer, Veteran & Mental Health Peer Specialist SSG Derrick Iozzio for another great night of "Peer-to-Peer" support. Tonight’s discussion is about arguments - "You are Invited!"
