As restrictions ease nationwide, new deaths are being reported in Florida linked to the emerging COVID-19 variants.
The mutant strains, which are more transmissible, contagious and even more deadly, have more than doubled in just the last two weeks.
According to a Palm Beach Post report, four deaths in Palm Beach County are linked to the variants.
As of Friday, more than 6 million Floridians have been fully vaccinated, while another 3 million await a second dose.
