Ron Johnson to the Washington Post

I've never been very impressed with the FBI as a Law Enforcement Agency and I have dealt with them during my own 40 plus years of Law Enforcement. A major problem is being directed by people that don't even have a Law Enforcement background but political hacks. Its too bad there are some good Agents within the bureau but they are undercut by the dirty and corrupt management. I speak of overall management although programs such as their crime labs and forensic abilities actually are top notch. What Agents and other are trained to do by the FBI is also outstanding. They could start by supporting the Field Agents in conducting their investigations and working with other Law Enforcement agencies instead of actually interfering and letting dirty politics steer the Agency into areas they don't belong in.

The FBI has lost all creditability as a supposedly "apolitical" organization.
