Did you read the article?
Many (if not all) of those guns were "strawman" purchases, which make the sale illegal.

MSG Stan Hutchison - The article does not allege an illegal sale to the person coming in the store. It alleges others legally coming in and buying them. The illegality is their actions afterwards and the no store should be held accountable. Thanks for stopping by.

I can't wait to see the outcome of this. Are we to be a nation of laws or opinions? BTW, I think the mayor of Chicago would be better served by wearing a balaclava. (Well, at least I would be better served if she wore one)
