Doesn’t look like Ohio State Police bought into the defund bullshit. What happened after the chase?

He was arrested...alive. This just goes to show you that you can have a gun in plain sight, not comply, drive off for a long chase and not die.

1SG (Join to see) 1SG, my point is the officers maintained their bearing for the duration of the video that I had seen. I’d attribute a lot of that to repetitive training. Much like how we train Soldiers in shoot/don’t shoot scenarios in the EST. All that training costs money and when compared to reducing force size, is more expendable than personnel when considering where to make up for decreased funding.
The latest incident shows a clear deficit in training and repetition in my opinion. Especially from a veteran officer with more than 2 decades of experience. My initial thoughts led me to believe she was a rookie.

That is a failure on so many levels, 1SG. I wonder if they gave that “best and brightest” speech while sending duds to be trainers the way some units do to get rid of less than stellar personnel.
