It's a well-established fact that more gun laws is not going to solve the problem. Ask yourself how many laws are on the books, who obeys them, and how are they enforced. What de facto punishment accrues to a robber with a gun?
Review the statistics on how many "errors" were made on Form 4473 --- how many of those errors were apparent perjury, how many prosecutions for that perjury.

Jacob Hollander - Let me assure you that you have most certainly not "stressed me out". You appear to have offered opinions that leap about in a manner once commonly described in "the old Corps" as similar to a "rabbit's ass". The image was one of that cottontail swinging left and right as the bunny sought to throw off predators as he crossed a field.
You bounced from UBC to catch "lone wolf types" to "open carry" with a swipe at the NRA in between, and a mention of a friend's suicide -- somehow related to the Mandalay Bay mass-murder, which UBC would not have prevented.
Concerning "open carry", do you realize that at one time in our history that was considered "right", and concealed carry "wrong"? How and why did we go from thinking a gun carried openly was proper, and no threat, but a hidden gun was a sure sign the guy with that concealed gun was up to no good?

Jacob Hollander - You did not give facts. There were no citations or links to supporting evidence. What You put out in Your initial comment was a Regurgitation of the Dem/Left/Socialist party line that has been repeated, ad nauseum, for the last several years. in rebuttal; Coyotes have become a recent Nationwide problem to the point that it has become, almost Nationally, open season on them with bounties. Coyotes are not afraid of Humans when traveling in packs and They will hurt You. Having a gun on your hip will likely avert such problems. Maj Robert Thornton, CW3 Harvey K.

Hearing about lots of shootings lately. Seems like the term "gangs" comes up when being described. They aren't worried about getting guns. So where do they get them, China?
