I agree with this, firearm safety IS something that should be taught at all levels. Parents, Schools, and Gun clubs. Nothing restrictive or Infringing about firearm safety. I have zero issue with Government requiring a firearm safety course, sort of like drivers ed. or a driving school.

I understand what you are saying SSG Robert Perrotto and agree that firearm safety training is a good thing. However, adding that may prove cumbersome. I can prove I have had firearm safety classes with diplomas and military qualification cards. If you pass Constitutional carry are you going to have LEO's stop everyone with a firearm to produce a card.
In Georgia, you don't have to have any training at all to get a Weapons Carry License. It took a long time for South Carolina, which has a training mandate, to agree to reciprocity of carry licenses. I could already carry my loaded firearm through SC on my hip, glove box or console. I could carry it into wherever I was staying as well. But in the car or into my lodging was the only place I could carry it, whether I had training or not.

Maj Robert Thornton - Does LE stop everyone that is driving? Probable cause would be the guidelines for LE to ask for a firearm safety card. Of course, I do believe certain establishment should be fire arm free, especially venues that serve alcohol (it is my experience that firearms and alcohol do not mix well)

TN State Capitol photos. Note the bullet hole from 14th Amendment fight. More recent efforts for a State income tax have been met with fierce opposition as well. https://www.dickndebbietravels.com/?p=25515

The State of Franklin (also the Free Republic of Franklin) was an unrecognized, autonomous territory located in what is today eastern Tennessee, United States. Franklin was created in 1784 from part of the territory west of the Appalachian Mountains that had been offered by North Carolina as a cession to Congress to help pay off debts related to the American War for Independence. It was founded with the intent of becoming the fourteenth state...

I’m all for Constitutional Carry but there needs to be a way to confirm a person is a US citizen. I’m concerned that the
Millions of illegal immigrants who are now in Texas will get the idea that they can also walk around freely carrying a firearm, just like legal citizens. LEOs have a hard enough time as it is in trying to sort out friend from foe without the added complication of verifying citizenship.
