I am curious how many of you think this is a good idea? This is a literal attempt to subvert a very specific part of the US Constitution and the power structure of the US Military and chain of Command. I am not a biden fan by any means, but this move by the left is what I consider a serious, clear and present danger to this Republic.
The Constitution is VERY specific about the roles of the 3 branches of government and especially the Presidents responsibilities. To me, this move by the left is nothing but a full on power grab attempt to shift the power of one branch of government to another...
I also have to wonder if this is not a signal or foreshadow of what's coming.. Anyone with any common sense can clearly see the cognitive decline in biden.. of course the left will continue with the denial of even that... but the worry is, how much control does he even have and as his condition worsens, WHO will actually be in charge?

I can see both sides of the discussion, but I believe it has worked for a long time and does not need change.

This is a power that should be limited to the executive branch with lots of oversight but we don't need any of those idiots in congress having access to this.

For politico to publish the names tells me there is more to the story than many will admit. Maybe his diminished cognition is a little more obvious than the media has been willing to broadcast.
