The part that bothers me more than the CG wanting to retain him, and the rest of the chain wanting to give him an honorable discharge - is that he was the PSG and "She says her assailant also served as a victim advocate, a position established by the military specifically to support sexual assault and harassment victims."

This happens far too often that sexual predators make their way into the VA and SARC roles. Not long after I became the alternate BN VA, I got bumped up to primary because the primary VA got accused of sexual harassment.

Some people get into positions, learns what they can get away with, then go for it. It's disgusting.

I hope the Marine Corps cleans house of all the decision makers in this case if her allegations are true. ALL OF THEM This reeks of poor leadership, judgement, sense of duty, and inability to fight for and protect a victim. The leadership needs to be severely reprimanded and removed from the military for their inability to do right thing and that is to fight for and protect a victim and marine. I hope the investigation is thorough and justice is swift. It is beyond my comprehension that a person who sexually assaults another is not punished.

This really pisses me off for a few reasons:
- Appropriate punishments was not meted.
- They did not take care and fight for her.
- As a victim she was victimized again by the system. It is a devastating and lonely feeling when one is wronged but nobody will help. I know this because I have seen this.

I am glad as well but I am saddened that it took TikTok to get leaderships attention and embarrassed so they would do the right thing...seriously!!!
