We have all lost someone important in our lives and had difficulty with the loss... This song by Josh Groban addresses this type of emotional loss... As I was preparing to put this post together, I came across one person's comment and it kind of struck me.

The person's comment is this:

"I believe that the lyrics apply to all the people one loves dearly who die before us, whether it be one's husband, wife, parents, siblings, children or friends. Having reached my seventies, the list of those I love most on this earth having died grows practically by the day but they all live on in my heart, which is filled with gratitude for the fact that they always have been and always will be part of me."

There are people who have been in my life and who have passed on and one never really gets over the loss... There is always this emptiness inside... A few days ago my oldest cousin passed on... I wasn't really close to her since she was 5-years older than I, but when I received word of her passing, It brought a tear to my eye... I felt the loss and never had a chance to speak with her before she passed... A beautiful cousin whom I looked up to when I was a boy... "Fly me up to where you are, Cousin Gail"...
