I bet another option - nothing changes. They just have to review their standards.

What the hell? Grooming standards are just fine. Perhaps an exception for MARSOC when operationally needed in a combat zone. I’m sure they are also looking at female standards as well.

Maj Timothy Robertson - It's helpful to read the article or the paragraphs I posted that are the most relevant. Esper directed all military services to review their appearance standards and policies for racial bias in July last year. So ultimately, all they have to do is conduct a review. There's nothing that says they have to change. They could do a review and say "We don't need to change anything" and probably ignore any racial biases. Or they might do a review and say "We are going to make a few changes." Right now it's just a review.

"Marine officials declined to comment on when the review is expected to be complete or what changes could result. Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper in July directed each of the military services to review their appearance standards and policies for racial bias."
