I find it interesting that these conditions appear only slightly worse than those in that Nevada hospital garage COVID-19 care facility.

I think they have more bathroom facilities and better sleeping. One bathroom for thousands of troops? Not like you can dig a pit on Capital Hill or pee in the bushes!

It will be interesting to see who made this decision. I suspect the lawmakers, Republican and Democrat, had nothing to do with it as they likely have nothing to do with the logistics in general. This seems more like something some administrative pencil pusher would do after seeing all the pictures in the media or soldiers sleeping on the floor of the Capitol.
