Thank you my friend Lt Col Charlie Brown for the reminder of recent history that on December 15, 2011 the USA declared an end to the War in Iraq in a ceremony held in Baghdad.
Of course that did not end our combat involvement in Iraq.

Lt Col Charlie Brown I had a front row seat to watch the planning of this event back in 2009. They were not ready and still do not have the professional military force to protect their country.
