This is my second try for this song... The first try at posting disappeared into never-never-land when I hit post... LOL! Now, I have lost/forgotten everything I wrote, but will try to recover it...
The Latino sound created by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass will survive the test of time I believe, and was a music mainstay for many years... The sound has a classy ring to it that seems to stick... It has been awhile since I listened to Herb Alpert, but I was refreshed when I just did, having listened to it three times already! LOL!
I believe you will enjoy the mix of the Tijuana Brass with the back drop of Mexico and Havana Cuba with its vintage cars and once bodacious Latin living in Havana... When you watch, you will see what I mean...

Been a long time since I heard this. Also, great dancing and scenes of Havana shortly after Castro took over. Sadly, it doesn't look anything like this today. The decay we see beginning in this video has almost completely returned the city to its roots

I have family there. I didn't realize it until I had to get my security clearance. It took forever, and I got a lot of calls from concerned family members asking what I did that military people were asking them so many details about me.
