I just lost a friend to COVID-19 this week. These theatrics piss me off. Its serious; take it as such.

Cpl (Join to see) - That's fine. My family has fought in this country's wars since the Revolution. They were Americans in the Revolutionary War, Republicans in the Civil War, and Democrats when they joined the unions in the 1930s while working in factories. Your attitude just shows how fractured this country is.

I'm not the one trying to dox people who disagree with me. We used to agree to disagree, but that's not happening any longer and it's not us on the right trying to get people fired for their political views. But if someone does it to me, i'm not above in kind treatment, treat me like shit, i'll return it in spades, true equality.

Cpl (Join to see) - I don't know who is trying to get those people fired. I completely agree with you that that is completely unacceptable. Do you think I would do that to anyone? If so, you are mistaken.

SGT (Join to see) - I'm jumping into this late. I'd merely like to address your comment:
"What pisses me off is the refusniks who believe it is a hoax."
The problem is that your pissed off by spin and paraphrasing put out by the press. The press is no longer content to report what goes on on the playing field. They want to report, play, and referee all at the same time. They are reporting a sin that was not committed.
The vast majority of those on the right who use the word "hoax" in connection with COVID are not referring to the existence of the virus, or its dangers. On this website I've had senior SNCO's and Field Grade officers adamantly assert that President Trump denied the very existence of the virus publicly well into May. The piece of evidence they offer is the same clip from late March, and quite clearly the President is talking about the Democrats politicking the pandemic. At his direction the administration was already shifting almost $200 million dollars to pandemic response in early February, when there were no reported deaths and less than 5 known cases in the US.
The "refusniks" are applying the word hoax to the DNC and progressive politicization of the virus and the pandemic, not the virus or the gravity of the situation./
