CPT Bob Coleman (since you blocked me):
"The "loser" that beat ISIS (captured their largest city - Mosul, their capital city - Raqqa, and killed their leader - Baghdadi), lowered taxes (Trump's tax cuts enabled me to buy a jacuzzi), established the first written peace accords between Israel, Bahrain, Uae and now Morocco, and got us back in space in American space vehicles. The "loser" that gave the first real military pay raise in years. (Obama gave 1% "raises" that with cost of living going up, actually amounted to pay cuts.) The "loser" that saved lives with is "right to try" dictate. The "loser that gave hospital ships, hospitals (that weren't used) to defeat the China Virus, as well as "Warp Speed" to get us the vaccination in record time. The "loser" that had allies in Poland, Ukraine, Baltic States, Romania and Hungary requesting we station US troops on their soil (Poland even gave us $2 Billion to help). All while fighting nothingburger elements in the nation trying to eliminate him with fruitless efforts of investigation (Mueller) and Impeachment.
May all our Presidents be such "losers"!"
---- ISIS has yet to be defeated.
---- He lowered taxes for corporations. He built in tax increases starting in 2021 that will go up through 2023...so he didn't really lower taxes.
--- He can get credit for normalizing relations between Israel and Arab states but nothing that would warrant a Nobel Peace Prize or anything astounding. The agreements gave a brief nod to what Middle East peace has been referred to - peace between Palestinians and Israelis. The Palestinians were not warned in advance that the UAE was working a deal with Israel and the US.
--- "Members of the military have received pay raises every year since 1983 -- and if you ignore an administrative quirk in 1983, they have received raises every year since 1961." One could say largest in 10 years but not the "first."
--- As of June 2019, only two patients have been accepted for experimental therapies and as of Aug 2020, fewer than 10 people used the "right to try" law to get treatments. Scott Gottlieb, commissioner of the FDA under Trump, stated the FDA had already approved 99% of patient requests for access to experimental drugs within a few days prior to the passage of this legislation.
---- Covid-19 hasn't been defeated (no such thing as "China virus") so not sure what the hospital ship comment is about.
---- Warp Speed had nothing to do with Pfizer's vaccine whatsoever. They continually distance themselves from it. Moderna got $1 billion in support from the US government. The only thing that got it in record time is removing a lot of red tape; not really Trump.
--- He was impeached so that wasn't "fruitless" and every intel agency said there was Russian interference - and many people associated with Trump colluded.

I just want a stable Constitutional Republic for Christmas. This is not anything more than a letter to Santa. No political endorsements, party politics. Beating COVID and getting folks back to work should fit in a stocking. If we choose to still consider each other as the enemy is outside my influence, so I defer to the Serenity Prayer.

I fail to see how this was posted in the humor section. Better in the insane section. tRump has 300,000 COVID deaths on his hands.

I don't subscribe to that theory Peter. None of us know the real numbers. We all have opinions, some more fact-based than others. I would offer that hopefully even a PFC would know that, if "there's only one case, on the W. Coast, and it will go away", he should form a perimeter around it. No armchair QB here, and it's moot because we are now where we are.

I fail to see the correlation you make with causality, can you present a less absurd correlation?

PO1 H Gene Lawrence - Trump is the President. He didn't respond to this virus at all. He was given a pandemic playbook, he tossed it. He dismissed the virus as deadly in public - but in private said it's worse than the flu. He kept saying no need to worry, it will be gone by April. We won't get more than 15 cases. Etc, etc. So yes he has blame in these deaths.

I have some recollection of the est. 12 hrs rack time out of a near week there, Magsaysay, Mayor Gordon. Spitshines outside hootch for a few bucks for all week. 10 peso San Miguel. Red Horse requires discretion, it kicks. Then again, there's Sticky Vicky in the Med....

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - That's what it's supposed to do, right? I liked both because they were rumored to have a formaldehyde base. Gradual process of embalming while still alive to enjoy it.
