A scene such as that often appeared in my view out of my bedroom sliding glass doors when I had acreage in Buckley,WA! I sure miss that. A herd use to sleep on my property! In view of my house.

I shot this one a few weeks ago over at the National Bison Range. I waited for the right moment and didn't hurry. There were three bulls there sparring when I first got there and when they saw my truck they quit. So I wait until they started again, by driving on up the road about five miles and when I came back they were thinking about it, by challenging each other. Very cool to watch. Oh, and Gene, I know where Buckley, WA is. I'm from further south on I-5, Longview/Kelso.

SFC Richard Williamson - yep, I was aware of that, from another conversation with you. We had Roosevelt Elk come down into Buckley often.

Thank you, Mike. I still haven't got this posting stuff down yet. It's starting to frustrate me. How do I get my blog to show up the way I wrote it and posted it? The photo is supposed to be an eagle up in a tree. These two guys are in the post and aren't supposed to be the main point.
