Oh come on. This is nothing new in a US general election. I live in nowhere Tennessee and it's been like this for the last two presidential elections. I lived 20 minutes from Hartford, Connecticut most of my life and it was always like this for decades past.
This is making something out of nothing by the bbc. With absentee ballots and early voting it's much easier to vote in this country than most others.
