"Here is the kicker: A private militia that attempts to activate itself for duty outside of the authority of the state or federal government is illegal."

MSgt Paul Connors - Your argument also ignores history. The Whiskey Rebellion involved an illegal armed group that violently attacked the US. President George Washington with the real militia (under government regulatio) stopped them. Today’s armed private groups are a similar rebellion

The difference is that ISIS drove around brandishing weapons and intimidating those who they disagreed with (politically and religiously). Americans don't drive around with rifles pointed out the windows, don't have mounted .30 cal or .50 cal machine guns (or anti-aircraft artillery) in the back of pick-up trucks, and don't execute people in the streets.

All these people who are anti-2A will not hesitate to call the police (people with guns) whenever they feel threatened. Heck, even the "Defund the Police" ANTIFA and BLM terrorist rioters will call the police whenever anyone drives through their human barricades.
