When this first broke a couple of days ago they were trying to blame it on Republicans for putting them in. What does it matter? California is a foregone conclusion that it's voting for Biden. It's almost like I don't even need to show up to vote on November 3rd because my votes going to be a wash. Is it work for down ballot issues there be no reason to show up.

A1C Michael Allen I'm right on the line that decides Sullivan and Hawkins counties. There is a little farm, more like a petting zoo, across the street. I live it here. I see peacocks, donkeys, a goat and chickens free roaming there every day.

SSG Robert Ricci I cannot believe how smart peacocks are. There's one who sits across from my kitchen window waiting for me to make coffee every morning. He's a real peeping tom. Then if he feels like he needs attention in the afternoon he sits across from my door yelling until I open it and talk to him. He never goes in the road. I think they are smarter than dogs. They are so beautiful. There are four over there and when they get their full tails in the spring they'll all stand around with them up turning in circles.
There is no such thing as zoning here. If you want a cow or horse you can just put it in your backyard. Coming from a blue state it took some getting use to. You'll see a million dollar home next to a trailer that looks like a meth lab.
In a two block radius there are all the animals across the street, horses, miniature burros, cows including a grey one (I had to google that thing. They are a cross between an angus and a white.) and long horns. It's like stepping into an alternate universe.
I love it. I keep asking the people across the street to get a miniature horse or a zebra. I want something new to look at.

PO3 Patricia Miner I don't mind country living. We have peacocks here where I grew up and it's actually a crime to hit and kill one. They come from the rather famous Los Angeles County Arboretum. It is supposed to be an enclosed area but they escaped. It's where the TV show Fantasy Island with Tattoo (Hervé Villechaize) and Boss (Ricardo Montalban) was filmed. The house is real as is the Lagoon around it but not big enough for the airplane to really land there. Those birds are noisier than hell!

I'll await the outcome of an investigation. Surely these aren't going to change the outcome in California, so why are they there and who placed them?
I smell a decoy.

Then there's also a problem with people in California rubbing hand sanitizer all over the ballots so the ink smears and they can't be read.
It's time to let that damn state secede. I don't understand why they fight so hard to keep it.
