My friend MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. I decided to do some research on this accusation.
It is over the top in my estimation and most likely a a hoax
1. Background from October 1, 2020 when Nathan Jun accused the Black Student Union to be anti-sematic. https://thewichitan.com/67966/news/bsu-responds-to-professors-accusation-of-anti-semitism/
Jun attached comments from MSU Texas student Twitter accounts about his performance at the event, in order to provide a reason for his post.
BSU’s leaders released a statement to their social media platforms Tuesday afternoon, expressing their disappointment in the post.
“…it has come to the Black Student Union’s attention that our organization has been accused of anti-Semitism by a professor that our organization once looked to for advice as well as support here at our prestigious university,” the statement began with.
The BSU took offense, not only with Jun’s accusations, but with his implication that a person cannot be Jewish and Black at the same time.
“To accuse [the BSU] of such a behavior (being hostile or prejudice against Jewish people) is not the founding of our organization, but to ask imply that being Black and Jewish is exclusive from one another is offensive. MSU Texas BSU welcomes all students and faculty/staff to participate in programming that is reflective of our history and culture,” the BSU said in their statement.
Jun said he was taken aback by the response and criticized the timing.
“I am completely shocked by this statement, which is coming at already a bad time,” Jun said.

The Graduate Employees’ Organization at the University of Urbana-Champaign, IFT/AFT Local 6300 stands in solidarity with Midwestern State University philosophy Professor Dr. Nathan Jun. Following US President Donald Trump’s reckless and ignorant declaration that “Antifa” is a “domestic terrorist organization,” members of the local Wichita Falls, Texas far right, including a County Commissioner, began to spread wild misinformation, falsely accusing Dr. Jun of being a “terrorist,” and calling on the university to fire him. They had no real evidence to support their claims. Within 24 hours, Professor Jun’s inbox was filled with death threats and otherwise harassing messages, and his employer received several demands from people, acting on misinformation, to fire Dr. Jun.
Dr. Jun is a published, respected academic in his field, a well-liked professor, and a mild-mannered and conscientious member of his local community. He is not a terrorist or anything of the kind. He is of Polish Jewish descent, and the grandson of Holocaust survivors. Given Dr. Jun’s background, we cannot help but see the anti-Semitic overtones of an angry conservative mob in a region politically dominated by evangelical Christianity, singling out Dr. Jun as an enemy “other.”
Given Dr. Jun’s family background, he has a keen awareness of the dangers of rising fascism, and he does not shy away from expressing his opposition to racism, state violence, and fascism. He should be commended for his commitment to equality and justice. Jun had some images on his personal Facebook page that expressed these sentiments, such as a banner with the words, “Always Antifascist.” The far right in his area, Wichita Falls, Texas, grew incensed about it and declared him to be some kind of “Antifa” agent, using him to spread fear to claim that the "evil, scary Antifa" have a "stronghold" in their town

BSU responds to professors accusation of anti-Semitism
Midwestern State University Black Student Union released a statementTuesday, Sept. 29, after a professor left a comment on the Wichita Falls Black Lives Matter Facebook group expressing his concerns of anti-Semitism in the Black community at MSU Texas and saying the BSU “should be ashamed of itself.” At the MSU Texas Amnesty International rally, held...
