Keeping a watchful eye on world events is important, but until this region becomes significantly important to the US, I don’t see us getting involved anytime soon. I’m more curious as to “why this region” is so important to China. What resources does it have? Is it a strategic “launching pad” for military operations? Is it simply a desire to expand its own territory? Why now? Is it because the US is losing interest in being the planet’s “police dept.” causing global powers to get too “big for their britches”? Curiouser and curiouser...

CPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana
It's China's desire to control the world through high interest loans, under the OBOR initiative and the MSR initiatives, that those countries never get out of debt and remain indebted to China. Pakistan has lost Gwadar in Balochistan for the next 44 years. Sri Lanka has lost Hambantota till debt is fully repaid. Djibouti has lost its port on the Horn of Africa. Where the U.S. banks were skeptic about issuing loans, China took that risk and capitalized on the losses of the United States of America.

I personally think that it's a propaganda ploy, but then both of the country's are probably in bed together, so to say CPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana
