Good morning Col Burroughs. Those who can adapt do better. They are the ones who see change as an opportunity to be grasped rather than sitting and moaning about what "was"
Don't live in the past; the opportunities are non existent there; be in the present and make the best use of it that you can.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Excellent advice today in your response Charlie! Love all the MEMEs and quotes you added as well. Adapt at every opportunity! Let me leave you with this final thought Charlie...
In today’s environment with all the fast-paced changes you must learn to adapt! Adaptability in this time and age is so important and may you adapt with a positive attitude no matter what the circumstances are. Positivity will always make any change better in the end! May you always take the very best care of yourself and stay healthy during these uncertain times; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Be prepared mentally and physical for it may be time to adapt and overcome!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I expect that you have adapted well to the changes you have gone through. Hopefully, you have become more compassionate and kinder in response to the involuntary changes you have been forced to adapt to. People tend to grow more reflective and compassionate or more bitter in response to changes thrust upon them, my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
I pray that each adopted son and daughter who reads this prayer is adapting well as the Holy Spirit transforms our soul into the perfect reflection of the image of Christ for ourselves. 'But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.' [Philippians 3:20-21 ESV]
In this political election season, tensions are being ramped up by zealots of all stripes. I pray that the LORD will bless each one of us with an increase of peace and that we will be able to dampen tensions. This scripture has direct application to theological discussions. As all scripture, this section also seems to apply well to the current season. 'Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness.' [2 Timothy 2:23-24 ESV]
LORD I lift the violent rioters, looters, and protestors and those who are consumed with passions to YOU. I pray that many of them will repent from their violent actions and words. ‘God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.’ 2 Timothy 2:25b-6 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Tuesday night and will awake healthy on Wednesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

COL Mikel Burroughs good read/share: for the Colonel's Motivational Quotes of the Day. Where the mighty American Bald Eagles roam in the mighty ROCKY MOUNTAINS OF CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO AMONG THIER EAGLES-NEST. I know the view must be MAGNIFICIENT on this day September 15, 2020 as you might glance upon the mighty snow capped mountains headed into the month of October. As you know I would respond a lot throughout the week, but I am full-time DOD employee doing contracts for the Defense Contracting Management Agency. It is good to have some time on my break to respond my friend.
Today's theme is "Adapt Day" I quote, “To avoid suffering, one must learn to adapt, learn some flexibility and realize that everything changes, and this is beautiful.” — Senora Roy
