Veterans Affairs tops 3,000 patient deaths from coronavirus

Not sure how valid these numbers are and it's also important to ask...who are they? Age, health status, etc? The annual flu kills people every year.

The VA is dealing with Veterans who have some serious health related issues prior to COVID-19. Just like any other hospital, people with other health issues are at a higher risk. Plus you have to look at locations (i.e. NY City). There are about 18.2 million Veterans in the US and about 9 million receive care at VA facilities. Even with 9 million, the death rate for COVID-19 is about .0003%. That is nowhere close to the world wide or US death rate.
